Welcome to FDAs short section in English
FDA, Forenede Danske Antenneanlæg - the Danish Cable Television Association, was founded in 1983 and organises about 335 local networks, representing roughly 400.000 connected households.
Objects of FDA
The objects of FDA are:
- To represent the interests of its members towards the authorities, right-owners, suppliers and others of relevance.
- To supply information and advice to its members.
- To offer support to its members when principles are at stake.
Members of FDA
Most FDA members are organized as non-commercial antenna-societies. This means that the actual owners of a network are the households connected to the same network. Members of an executive committee elected once a year on the annual general meeting would normally run the antenna-societies. These members usually run the network in their spare time.
